Smoked Pork Tasso
Serving our Signature Chicken, Sausage and Tasso GUMBO across the country, we have been asked at least a thousand times, What is Tasso? Most important it adds a special Cajun flavor not found in anything else. It is a boneless piece of lean pork, seasoned with Cajun spices then smoked to a unique finish. It’s as Real Cajun as you can get and still produced by the same Savoie Family since 1955. Though our GUMBO recipe is delicious without Tasso, try cooking like a Cajun and add it to your key ingredients. Carefully packaged and shipped for quality; refrigerate immediately upon arrival.
